Candid
A candid photograph is a photograph captured without creating a posed appearance. This is achieved in many ways, like taking many shots while a character does something and he doesn't know that he is being photographed. This gives a natural look to the photo.
Posed
Posed photography is set up. With or without models, artificially purposefully lit, propped, set designed by the person taking the photo or hired to take such photos.
Formal
Formal photography is just like posed photography, but more elegant. This type of photography can be met at weddings, parties and many other places.
|
Sports photography refers to the genre of photography that covers all types of sports.
Children
Children photography it's a ''natural photograph''. It can be posed as well.
The photo is taken in a child's environment.

Group
Group photography is a type of photo that has lots of people (group) in it.
Self portraits
A self portrait photograph is one that shows the interiority of someone. It's really affective and it transmits feelings.
Selfie
A Selfie is just like a self portrait, but it doesn't really transmits any feelings, is just a photo of 1 or more people having fun or doing other activities.
First Shoot
Plan: I'm going to take photos of my friends. They are going to help me by posing different emotions.
This shoot went better than I expected, I adjusted the settings of the camera so the light could be almost perfect.
One of the things that made this shoot be ''not that perfect'' is that we didn't have enough creativity or actor skills to pose different emotions, other than sadness, happiness or confusion.

In my opinion this is my worst photograph because this was the first one and I didn't make the correct settings, the subject is too dark and the background is too bright, that looks very uncomfortable. Also, the photo doesn't show any story.
|
I think that this is my best photograph because I made the right settings, the subject is on focus, not too bright or too dark. The photo looks like it really has a story behind it, it gives a sad aura that makes it look realistic.
Also, the reflection gives the photo a nicer look. |
Second Shoot
Plan: I'm going to take a shoot of my friends, but I want it to be different from the first shoot. I thought about some masks, scarfs and close-up photos.
I am not going to use any background props, I will try to keep a clean one-coloured background, so the photos are not boring. I will try to make some black and white photos, so it has a story behind it.

This is my worst photo because it's blurred out, the focus wasn't good enough and its taken from too far away.
|
This is my best photo because the focus is on point, the light is great and the shape of the violin shows just a half of the subject's face. Also, the camera was focused on the subject's eyes, and in my opinion this makes a portrait photograph look great.
I edited the photo so it's black and white, I think it's making the photo look more dramatic and powerful. |
Third Shoot
Plan: I want to do a shoot where I will use a bit more editing, like black and white photos. I will focus more on close-ups and eyes, so the photos are powerful.
I think this is my worst photo, because the subject is blurred out and not in focus. Also, the photo doesn't show any feelings.
|
I think this is my best photograph because the subject stands out and the grass is blurred out, so it gives it a nicer look. Also, the photo shows feelings that can be seen on the subject's face.

Erin Case
Erin Case works and lives in Midland I Michigan I USA.
Erin Case's work is hand-cut collages that are made from vintage materials. Most of the images she uses come from old National Geographic Magazines, Time, fashion magazines, vintage books, encyclopedias, and other source materials of that nature. When she make digital collages, she uses found images from Internet searches, or photographs taken by people she knows.
My opinion about Erin Case's work is that her photos are very artistic in some kind of special way, they are different and I personally like it.

Here are some photos that I tried to do using Erin Case's style.
I tried to give the photos a feeling of confusion, so the photos look
like non sense and they are interesting at the same time.
